Shiatsu School of Canada (SSC):
The SSC provides a 2,200-hour diploma program in shiatsu therapy, the most extensive education in shiatsu outside of Japan. Training combines the rigor of western sciences with the art of traditional Chinese medicine and meridian shiatsu. They also have a general interest course in shiatsu and an acupuncture program.

Shiatsu Therapy Association of Ontario (STAO):
A non-profit professional organization governing shiatsu therapists, the STAO provides the Certified Shiatsu Therapist (CST) designation to qualifying individuals who have earned a diploma from a 2,200-hour program in shiatsu therapy and have passed the STAO’s comprehensive examinations.
